The SJPA runs a second-hand uniform shop for those who want to sell outgrown uniform or buy good quality pre-loved items at reduced prices. The shop runs throughout the school year and uniform can be dropped off and collected from Reception.
To Sell or Donate Uniform
If you would like to donate uniform, all you need to do is drop the items off at the School Reception.
To sell uniform, you will need to register as a seller and be issued with a seller number.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to register.
Once you have been issued your seller number, please complete a uniform label (below) for each item you wish to sell. Include your seller number as well as an item description (type and size) before attaching it to the clothing with a safety pin.
Pricing: There is no need to price your item, this will be done by the shop. Prices are dependent on the condition of the item and are usually approximately 50% of RRP.
Uniform Drop Off: Uniform can be dropped off at Reception at any time, but please make sure that the bags are clearly marked for the Second-Hand Uniform Shop.
Payment: Proceeds from the sales will be sent direct to your bank account. 25% of proceeds will be retained by the SJPA.
Please note that the SJPA can only sell current uniform and sports kit, and this means we cannot accept items with the old school logo. For information: the old logo features the eagle sat on a branch.
We also accept sports equipment and footwear (as long as it is in good and clean condition), as well as suits appropriate for Sixth Form use. The shop reserves the right to dispose of uniform which is unfit for sale or which remains unsold after one year. We cannot currently accept white shirts/blouses due to space constraints.
To Purchase Uniform
We sell uniform throughout the school year, and items can be collected from the school Reception.
To make a purchase, please email the shop with the item and size you would like. You can access any sizing information to help in your selection from the schoolblazer.com site.
We will be in touch to let you know what stock we have and how you can pay.
You will be notified by email as soon as your items are ready to be collected from Reception. If we do not have all/some of the items you are looking for, we can put you on a waiting list and contact you when they become available.
We kindly ask you to please avoid buying two sizes of uniform knowing that one will be returned, as this creates extra work for our volunteers.
Returns: Items can be returned within two weeks of being made available for collection, and must be returned to Reception marked for the attention of the Second-Hand Uniform Shop. Please submit a returns form (below) and include your details with your item(s). Money will be refunded to you as soon as possible.
Pop Up Sales:
Saturday 26 August, 10.00am – 12noon
Sales will be held in the Old Chapel.
You will be able to purchase, pick up and drop off any items at these events.
Please note that you will need cash to pay for any items purchased on the day.
*For new parents: the Old Chapel is situated to the right-hand side of the main school entrance.
