We are looking for a qualified specialist teacher in SpLD to work in our busy Learning Development Department. The person should hold a Level 5 Diploma in SpLD with qualifications to assess for Access Arrangements or a Level 7 Diploma in SpLD. The position involves supporting pupils who are on the SEND register with weekly lessons to teach them study skills to support their profile and to assess for Access Arrangements. Support is provided for students throughout the school day, including before and after school.

The position demands high professional standards and excellent subject knowledge in order to assess and support pupils with a range of SpLD profiles.

This post is initially offered on a four days per week basis but this can be discussed at interview.
