Tours of St John's School

We are incredibly fortunate to have a beautiful site with plenty of green space and impressive facilities for our pupils to benefit from and we have missed welcoming visitors. Whilst this tour will be different to normal and there will only be the admissions team onsite, we understand you need the opportunity to view the School in person before making this important decision.

However, we ask that you please use your imagination! St John's is rarely a quiet place; our school has a vibrant, energetic, welcoming atmosphere, which parents often quote as a main reason for knowing their child will be happy and thrive here. We are disappointed that you will not experience the real St John's this time but hope we will be able to invite you again at some point soon and until then we hope this will go some way in showing you how lucky we are. Please scroll down to the bottom of this page to book your tour.

"I knew from our very first visit that Milly would be happy here. That feeling got stronger every time we visited!" St John's Parent

Questions for our staff

We hope you enjoyed meeting some of our staff and pupils (virtually) at the live Q&A. If you have any more questions for any of them, please click on their image below to email them.

 Safety precautions

These tours will be carried out under a strict risk assessment and all visitors must follow the safety measures in place to protect our whole community, including:

  • staggered arrival times
  • collection from outside our Main Reception entrance, at the front of the building
  • hand sanitising before entering the School
  • face coverings to be worn throughout the tour
  • two metre social distancing at all times
  • one family only per tour
  • a one-way system around the School site.

Before your visit, you need to complete the below visitor information form.

Book a tour

Please click below to book a tour with a member of our admissions team. The tours will take place on Tuesday 16 and Wednesday 17 February and will take approximately 30 to 40 minutes (please ignore where it states the duration as 15 minutes).  It will only be the admissions team available as we need to minimise the number of people onsite.

When booking, where it asks for ‘Name’ please add your child’s first name and surname. Once you have booked a tour you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive a confirmation email please check your spam and if it is not there, please contact us so that we can check your booking. You should receive a reminder email 24 hours before your tour is due to start and an SMS reminder two hours beforehand. Please park in the reserved parking at the front of the School, outside the Main Reception, and we will come out to meet you.

We have a limited number of tours. All tours will currently take place on Tuesday 16 and Wednesday 17 February so if there is no availability showing on these days it means the tours are fully booked. If this is the case please add your name to the waiting list by clicking on the below 'Register for Waiting List' button and we will contact families in order if we receive any cancellations. If you have any queries regarding the tours, please email and our admissions team will be happy to help.

Last term we published a virtual tour, so please do take a look at that as well here.
