From September 2019, St John’s School is looking to employ an exceptional graduate with a good degree in any discipline.
Fixed Term Contract: September 2019 – June 2020
From September 2019, St John’s School is looking to employ an exceptional graduate with a good degree in any discipline. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in an educational setting by contributing fully to the sporting and co-curricular programme of a leading co-educational independent school in the south east of England. There is also the prospect of getting involved in other aspects of school life for those who are considering a career in teaching and/or wish to take full advantage of the opportunity. There is a possibility to develop into a teaching fellow role for the right candidate.
Ideally the candidate will have coaching or playing experience in a variety of sports, but those who excel in one sport will still be considered. Enthusiasm, flexibility, a positive approach to all games, the ability to work as part of a team, and a willingness to participate fully in a busy and thriving School are essential, as is a sense of humour.
Term time only, Monday to Saturday, with flexible hours to include early morning and evening work. The postholder will also be expected to assist with Saturday sports (home and away fixtures) and any other School trips as required. During term-time, the successful candidate will work at the School and any other confirmed locations as may be reasonably required.
Accommodation will be provided with a nominal rent reduction and meals will be provided during term time.
