Catering Head Porter

We are looking to appoint a Head Porter who is a reliable and conscientious individual to lead a team of Kitchen Porters. 

41 weeks per annum (shift rota including alternate Saturdays during term time)

44 hours per week, 36 weeks per annum (term time) and 40 hours per week, 5 weeks per annum

We are looking to appoint a Head Porter who is a reliable and conscientious individual to lead a team of Kitchen Porters.  Main duties are to ensure the work areas are cleaned to a high standard, correct storage is maintained and an efficient service is provided.  Good communication skills are essential and previous supervision experience is desirable, however, training will be provided.  This position is physically demanding and the postholder will be required to undertake a significant amount of manual handling work.
