Hospitality Assistants needed for Friday 28 June and Saturday 29 June 2019

Ad hoc hours (Competitive hourly rates:  £9.00 or £10.00 per hour dependent on experience)

The School requires temporary staff to support our busy Catering department during Speech Day and the Summer Ball on 28 June and 29 June 2019. This role requires a hands-on approach and duties will include providing a food and beverage service in a professional manner and helping to set and clear up before and after the events.  This is a physical role and may involve lifting and manual handling.  There is also the possibility of further work during the rest of the year to help with external functions.

Kitchen Porter role

Basic cleaning duties, washing up of crockery and cutlery, keeping the food prep areas clean and assist with setting up and breaking down of function equipment

Waiting staff role

Setting up and clearing of dining areas.  Delivering food and drinks in a professional and friendly manner.

No previous experience is necessary as training will be provided but a high level of motivation and the passion to deliver exceptional customer service is essential. Excellent communication skills, a flexible approach and the ability to work as part of a team will also be essential as well as good personal presentation.

For candidates with previous catering experience, we are also looking for team leaders with the ability to supervise a small team.
