OJ Runners Set The Pace
The afternoon of Thursday 21 March saw the inaugural combined run by OJs and current pupils.
A number of pupils and staff from the School’s cross-country club, joined members of the OJ Runners society, for a tough 8.5km run through the countryside surrounding Leatherhead.
Waved off from the start point by The Head, Mrs Cole, enthusiastic runners made their way through the long distance run across varying terrain. The enjoyable event is hoped to become a regular calendar fixture, engaging current pupils and staff with the OJ community!
OJ Runners was originally set up to compete in the annual Schools’ Alumni Run on Wimbledon Common, however the club has since developed into a social group who meet throughout the year. They are always on the lookout for new runners, of all abilities. Click here to find out more.
