Wednesday 5 December and Thursday 6 December 2018, 7.30pm
Venue: PAC

This biting black comedy explores the absurdity and savagery of war.  As soldiers, scavengers and dance teachers roam a battle-scorched landscape, young medical officer Anne finds herself useless and abandoned, desperate to reach a front-line hospital.

As the war rages on between the almost indistinguishable Blues and Greys, with no end in sight, nobody seems to remember what they are fighting for, or even where the war is!

St John's School Drama Department is proud to present this year’s Senior School Play: Tom Basden's There is a War. Pupils from Lower Fifth to Upper Sixth showcase their performance skills in the first main production of this academic year.

- Tickets are free but booking is recommended. Click here to book.
- Complimentary refreshments will be provided.
