As a school we are doing all we can to minimise the risk of coronavirus (COVID-19) and protect our pupils, their families and our staff. We very much appreciate your support during this evolving and challenging time as we prioritise the safety and wellbeing of our whole school community.
Update (23 March 2020)
In line with government guidelines, St John's School is currently closed. We have worked hard to adapt our curriculum for online learning and therefore the School have moved to online/virtual learning until further notice. Please note, during this time our staff will be working from home to enable continuity of service, and this includes our Admissions Office.
The Head, Rowena Cole, often talks about the strength of the St John's community and never has this been more apparent than in these uncertain and challenging times. Throughout the last few weeks of term, our community has remained cheerful, positive and determined. Staff and pupils have pulled together and made huge efforts to support each other, demonstrating two of our key values: kindness and resilience.
Whilst we are not physically together on site due to the national school closures, we are, as always, together in spirit and will continue to support one another as we embark on a new style of remote learning, teaching and working.
We will publish updates as the situation progresses and look forward to welcoming you all again as soon as we can. Thank you for your understanding.
In the meantime, please follow us on Twitter @StJohnsSurrey to see how our community are #StrongerTogether.
