Activities and Clubs

We are passionate about creating opportunities for our pupils to try new things, develop skills, broaden their horizons and have fun.  St John's offers a vast array of activities to create a rich and interesting co-curricular programme. The variety and breadth of activities is an essential tool in helping the pupils to develop as well-rounded individuals with a broad spectrum of interests.

The activities offered reflect a range of pursuits that might be regarded as traditional co-curricular clubs, as well as branching into new and exciting activities.  The programme is driven around the interests of our staff and our pupils.

From Chess Club and debating to honing cricket skills or building a hovercraft: you name it, you can do it. These clubs are available in addition to Art, Music, Drama, Combined Cadet Force, Duke of Edinburgh and the Community Service Unit. Clubs and activities add an extra layer to our pupils' experiences at St John’s, providing the opportunity to unearth new skills and interests.
