The U19 swimming team headed to Crystal Palace for the Bath Cup, a national competition with over 80 schools competing with swimmers travelling from Ireland to compete.  The 50m pool was a rare opportunity for the team to swim in a full length pool, with the new track style starting blocks used at the Beijing Olympics. 

Despite being unable to fight their way into the final heats, it was a great experience for the team which was enjoyed by all.  Particular mentions to Andy Grey for the boys who had some exceptional swims, along with Hannah Shore (pictured left) for the girls who opened a strong lead in the freestyle relay.  Hannah will also be competing in the Surrey Schools Division 11 finals vs Kent after qualifying in the Surrey individuals earlier in the term.
