The Athletics team kicked off their season with a match against a strong Epsom team. Whilst the team lost overall, there were some particularly impressive individual results. In the Juniors, James Hole and Sam Cordery displayed a strong showing, whilst Calum Alder put the Inter Boys Javelin record under threat before hitting the high jump. In the Seniors, there were fine showings by many, with Kwadwo Sarpong’s pace coming to the fore.

The relays remained strong events for St John’s, with fine contributions from all involved, including Andy Grey in his fourth event of the day.
