The School's catering is managed in-house which gives the Catering team freedom to purchase produce without the restrictions often imposed by contract caterers, ensuring a far better quality and range of products. The four week menu cycle offers a wide range of choice and takes into account requests that come from the Pupils' Food Committee. The committee is well represented across the Year groups and meets once a term to make menu suggestions that enable the catering team to keep up to date with the changing palette of pupils.
All dietary requirements are catered for including those required due to medical conditions or religious restrictions, and even the occasional specific personal need. Graham Beauchamp is the Head Chef and is classically trained in British and French cuisine and previously worked in West End restaurants.
The Dining Hall opening times are: A selection of cereals, yoghurt, porridge, croissants and pain au chocolat, toast, jam and spreads, fruit, grilled bacon, sausage, eggs of the day, grilled tomatoes, mushrooms, baked beans and beverages including fruit juices.
Lunch is served from 12.55pm to 1.50pm on a phased sittings structure. Dinner is available from 6.15pm until 6.45pm. |
