The Henry Dawes Centre is named after the man who donated £2,500 in 1867 to purchase the land for the school in Leatherhead. This £7 million development provides purpose built workshops for Design & Technology, IT suites, Art Studios and general teaching rooms. The Library is also part of the complex, which comprises of two buildings, joined by an atrium.

Fairfield Girls' House
September 2004
Fairfield House has en suite accommodation for 20 boarding girls, facilities for approximately 15 day girls, a housemistress's house and assistant's flat. The combination of the Fairfield and Hallaton buildings is now known as South House.
Performing Arts Centre
May 2003
This impressive building houses the St John's Music School, an auditorium and the Sixth Form Social Centre. The School's patron, HRH The Duchess of Gloucester, officially declared the Performing Arts Centre open in May 2003. Work began on the £3 million building in January 2002.
Astroturf
2001
An astroturf was also opened by our patron, HRH The Duchess of Gloucester, in 2001. The facility is used for hockey, tennis and as an alternative surface during wetter weather. The royal opening signalled the start of the first match between the St John's Girls' 1st XI and an Old Girls' XI.
